About us
The TLV bid committee boasts a team of highly experienced individuals. Guy Kovel, the Bid Chair, has a track record of convention operations. Gadi Evron, with a history of organizing events since 1996, handled logistics and events at prestigious conventions like Dublin 2019 and CoNZealand. Other members, including Einat Citron, Naama Friedman, Dror Raif Nesher, and Tal Goldman, bring expertise in programming, logistics, volunteer management, and event operations.
Together, we have collectively organized conventions with up to 10,000 participants. Their extensive experience ensures that TLV is in capable hands.

Update on the Tel Aviv 2027 Worldcon Bid
Due to personal reasons, we have made the difficult decision to suspend our bid for Tel Aviv 2027. We deeply appreciate the support and enthusiasm we’ve received from the community, and we want to thank everyone who has stood by us throughout this journey.
This is not the end—our team is actively working on finding the right way to launch a new bid for a future date. We remain committed to bringing Worldcon to Tel Aviv when the time is right.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We’ll share more updates as soon as we can.
